I acted as a professional real estate agent throughout the process of marketing the seller's home and evaluating offers. However, a significant issue arose when the seller refused a radon inspection, which was contrary to the terms of the contract. As a result, the buyer canceled the transaction, and it became clear that the seller's stance could impact future deals. To uphold my commitment to ethical practices, I made the tough decision to terminate the listing agreement. This choice was driven by the seller's refusal to comply with contractual terms, not a disregard for the transaction. My priority is always serving my clients with integrity, and I couldn't represent the seller effectively under the circumstances.
